  • geta really goodfilter foryourfurnace.

  • Gethouse plants! Lots ofem.

  • youcouldtry a special sweeper thatreduces them. plus putfilters inside ofyourair vents

  • Air Purifier,Shampoo yourRugs atleast everyothermonth, usea dehumidifier toprevent groth ofcertaintypes ofmold.

  • Yes theydo, butyoureally shoulddoyourhome work onthem. A filter type isactually inefficient. Ionic breeze isaboutthebest one I everbought. Itworks withwater, andittakes alot ofthings out oftheair. Also, change thefilters inyourvacuum regularly. Ifyouhavepets, bathe themoften. Andeliminate flowers fromyouryard thathavea high pollen count. shampoo yourcarpets every60 days withanallergin reducer cleaner. Theywork pretty good. AlsouseLysol regularly, itkillsallsorts ofgerms andmildew andmold.

  • THEYclaim theywork I woulddisagree……youdidn’t saywhereyoulive orwhattheallergins were, ifitisoutside driven youareout ofluck andwouldbebest offgetting a shot fromdoc, iftheyarefromwithin andyoususpect thecarpet inmyownexperience, nothing worked, sorry. I haditripped up,thengottested andfound out itwasmold, andnothing willfix thatotherthanremoving thecarpet andreplacing itwithanything (tile, wood, cork) thatwon’t conduct mold……goodluck.

    try thenewfabreeze = suppose toreduce allergans,dust mites,etc ~ Air purifiers canbecostly ~

  • Vacuum daily witha hepa filter vac,air purifiers, dust allthetime, special allergy sheets andpillows toprotect fromdust mites…geta house cleaner tocome inandhelponce a week…Otherpeople whodon’t live inyourhouse cansee things youdon’t

  • I donothaveallergies, butI needed a newvacuum cleaner. I havea Labrador wholives, eats andsleeps withmesoI amlucky insofar asI havemock PVC wood lino anda wood floor inmybedroom. I alsohavePsoriasis, whichkinda flakes everywhere. Theliving room iscarpeted andhasa underlay. Thefirst thing I did,‘sealed’theconcrete floors, asconcrete tends to‘dust’withage. Thenewvacuum cleaner, well theyarealldouble dutch tomeandrange inprice. HoweverI hadheard abouttheseHEPA filters andtheyhavethemforDogs andothercleaners state dog hairs,soI purchaseda cheap upright model thatstated HEPA filter Dog Hairs. I amnotjoking,I filled up thecylinder dust container five times justvacuuming theliving room andtheHEPA Filter, well itwentinwhite, came out kinda Black! I hadtocleanthefilter washed it,waited forittodry andthenvacuumed theliving room again andagain. Now I canvacuum theotherrooms andHEPA filter anddust bowl isnever full. I havetobehonest,I onlywish theyhadinvented thisHEPA filter system whenI movedintothishouse. I amnow thinking ofinvesting ina more expensive version, thatishowimpressed I am. Moreover thestale odors gone!

  • Air purifiers dowork, butyouhavetobesure tochange orcleanthefilter ona regular basis.
Dust using a wet dust cleaner likePledge (allergens willadhere toit)
Usea high powered vacuum witha HEPA filter. Vacuum yourcarpets several times a week.
Cleanyourdrapes andlinens everyweek inhot water. Usepillow covers inaddition topillow cases.
Clean/dust/vacuum yoursofas weekly. UseFebreeze Allergen reducer tohelpreduce theallergens intheair.

Finally, steam cleanyourcarpet every3-4 months toreally keep italldown.
