I hadthesame problem. I feed allofmypets theraw diet. Itisratherintense inthebeginning switching fromdry toraw. Read asmuch asyoucanonit. Mydog iscured!

Thisisgoing tosound trite butitisthetruth: one without theallergen init. theproblem is,finding thatallergen. Yourdog willbeputona diet withprotein andgrain sources thathewasnever exposed to(likesorghum andkangaroo). Then,one byone,foods willbeadded until a reaction occurs. Then,anyfood thatdoesnothavethatallergen initcanbefed.
Ifyourvet hasn’t found anyskin parasites inoronyourdog,herdry itchy skin couldbeherdiet. Sounds likesheneeds someoil inherfood. Give herchicken andrice kibble andtwice a week add a teaspoonful ofolive oil toit. Linseed oil isalsovery goodfordry/itchy skins. Youdon’t saywhatsize yourdog isbutifitislarge orvery large a tablespoon ofoil twice a week canbenefit. Sometimes animals react tohousehold cleaners,especially those used onthefloos wherethedog lies down. Ifyouusestuff likeshake n vac –stop.

Ifshehasnoallergies tofood,thenitdoesn’t matter thebrand,except don’t buythecheap stuff. Gotoyourlocal feed store andthey’ll havesomereally greatstuff forskin products fordogs,especially allergy prone dogs.
Avoid foods withlots offillers- especially corn orwheat products oranyrice protein concentrate. Look formeat thatisidentified- oftentimes dogs maybesensitive tosomebrands ofmeat liketochicken ortolamb commonly used indog foods. Inthatcase it’s goodtolook fora healthy brand withVenison,Duck orFish andvary thediet.
Somebrands thataregreatthatI don’t know iftheyareavailable thereinclude Orijen (Canadian made),Canidae andWellness.
Otherwise youmightconsider a home cooked diet foryourdog. Thatmaymakea bigdifferenceinthecoat.
I havefound a blend thatworks goodformydogs andit’s Nature’s Recipe Venison andRice,sometimes I vary withDuck andFish blends ofthesame brand.

Youdon’t necessarily havetospend a lot ofmoney tofind thebest diet foryourdog.
I havelearnt bymymistakes. Mypresent dog haddreadfulproblems becauseofthefood whichI gave her,I experimented withdog food,I tried raw diets,cooked diets andover theyears I tried various dog foods. Shedidnotliketheraw diets andthedog food thatI gave herresulted indiarrhoea. Asanexperienced dog owner I introduced anychanges gradually. Nevertheless mydog still hadproblems. Shewaseight years oldbefore I resolved herproblem.
Eventually,becauseofmyresearches ontheInternet I found thattheexperts havediscovered thatGRAIN inourdog’s diet causes many problems. I now know thatgrain createsacidity intheblood. Thiscauses skin problems,sickness,diarrhoea,anal gland problems etc.,
Ifyourdog hasskin problems oranyoftheabove problems PLEASE CHANGE THEDIET. Avoid Grain,rice,beef derivatives anddairy food
I now give mydog a dried food whichuses beet forfibre andfish. It’s called Fish4Dogs andI buyitontheInternet. Look ontheInternet andinvestigate yourself. Gluten free dog food isnotenough tohelpourdogs,itMUSTBEGRAIN FREE.
A rapid change ofdiet willupset yourdog;anychange ofdiet mustbedone gradually. Doplease change toa grain free diet. I havehadsixteen dogs throughout theyears andtheyhavehadvarious problems. Perhaps ifI hadknown aboutthedangers ofGRAIN theywouldhavehadfewer problems. .
