Don’t justdust. Vacuum cleanyourhouse witha vacuum cleaner.
I’ve heard thatusing lavender oil hasaneffect ondust mites andvacuuming yourmattress andpillows each time youchange thebedding, whichshouldbea minimum ofonce a week especially forsomeone withallergies, canhelp.
Also, purchasea product likeEndust whichwillhelpyoueliminate dust inyourroom andcheck everyday fordust deposits andifyouhavetodust everyday.
I usea vacuum witha high power vacuum thathasa hepa filter. I’m allergic tocats/dogs anddust andI have4 cats,2 dogs andlive ina construction zone currently andthishelps!

4) Seal box springs, pillows andthemattresses inzippered dust- andallergen-proof covers.
5) Eliminate thedust andgrime fromceiling fans andvacuum anydust thatmayfall tothefloor.
6) Vacuum “what-nots,”louvered doors andpleated lampshades. Usea brush attachment.
7) Reduce oreliminate fabric wall hangings.
8)Useplastic shades instead ofdrapes, blinds orcurtains onwindows. Orputdryer-safe curtains anddrapes intothedryer forseveral minutes toremove dust. Usetheair setting. Usea clean, newpaint brush todust mini blinds.
9) Buymachine-washable stuffed toys.
