I need over the counter allergy medicine?

It’s weird but I am never allergic to my pomeranian unless its during Fall season or winter season.. Spring and summer, I am fine with him. I have him for 2 years now, and I dont want to get rid of him so what over the counter allergy medicine should i get?
I dont have watery itchy eyes but I have the runny nose alot. I only get it when my dog is around me. =(
