  • tellhimup inup dude he’s ur friend

  • TellhimPolitely, andjusttellhimtolay offthesmoking around him, andmaybe justsit down andtalk tohimaboutyourathsma andtellhimyourbreathing isaffected byhissmoking.

  • sorry, butI thinkyouareover-reacting. Ifthesmell ofthesmoke onhisclothes iscausing thatbadofa reaction thentheexhaust ofcars next tothebuilding shoulddoeven worse…andgod forbid youevergoanyplace witha woodstove orfireplace.

Ifyouarethatsensitive tofragrances thenperfumes, candles, etc wouldalsobehorrible…sounless youareready forthatresponse fromhim..thateveryone intheoffice needs touseallnatural products withnoscents andnobody canwear perfume orhair gel, etc…andthatyouwillbewearing a filter mask outside becauseofcar exhausts, pollution, etc. I really wouldn’t try tocomplain ifI wereyou. Second hand smoke (unless youareinanenclosed non-ventilated space whilesomeone isactually smoking) isaneasy scapegoat..butinreality itismuch less irritating anddamaging thenpollution, car exhaust, fragrances, candles, woodsmoke, etc toasthma. Obviously ifheweresmoking intheoffice withyouthenyoumighthavea justified complaint..orina car withyou, etc…butthefact thatheissmoking outside onhisbreak, isnotsomething youhavetherighttocomplain aboutthesmell onhisclothes, asthma isnotsomething yougettouseasanexcuse. Youhavetheresponsibility togetyourasthma under control ortomakechanges yourself becauseofyourasthma..others donothavetheresponsibility tomakechanges fororbecauseofyou..unless theychosetodoso.

Ifyourasthma isthatout ofcontrol youshouldbeonsick leave, talk toyourdoctor aboutdisability.

  • IfI understood youcorrectly theco-worker issmoking atyourjob? I’m hoping thatyourasthma isunder control, thesecond thing I woulddoiseitherrequest a change inyoucubicles sothatyouarefurther away andwon’t beaffected. It’s I guess hischoiceandrighttosmoke but“also”yourrighttobeabletobreathe somewhat fresh air.

  • Asthma isa serious disease!
