Anyway,thinking more aboutit,mydaughter’s allergis aremore seasonal,probably notdust related somuch,sinceallsummer shewas100% fine,itreally kicked up first week inSeptember asithaswhenshewas5 months old(shewasborn April 3) and18 months old,sheisnow 30 months old-mydoctor (whoI justcalled) agreed itwasseasonal forher. I didnotknow thattheHEPA filters arebetter I willlook intothose forhertoo,thatisa better ideaforher. instruct heronhowtouseplain saline drops asa spray up hernostrils. andbreathing thesteam froma hot bowl ofsoup toincrease lung ability
Yourdaughter wouldbenefit more froma regular HEPA air purifier. TheSharper Image ones arebetter thannone atall,buttheydonotdothejob thata normal air purifier does. Thereisnosubstitute forone asyouarefinding out. Itdoesnottake dust,pollen,danders out oftheair likea HEPA does. Ifyou’re ready tospend $300. onherhealth,itwouldbea goodideaifyoupurchasea HEPA air purifier astheyaretheonlyones thatwouldbeabletohelpherbreathing.
Youalsohavetochange herbedroom andmakeitsparse enough thatdust doesnotcling to,such asremove drapes,substitute shades,nocarpeting,getspecial dust-mite proof sheets,pillow cases,andmattress/box spring covers. Thewalls needs tobewiped down ona regular basis,stuffed animals havetobewashed regularly.
