For the past 7 years I have had seasonal allergies: watery ich eyes, sneezing, the works. I would always use Flonase, but this year I was perscribed Nasonex (you know, the commercial with the bee). Anyways, I started using it at the beginning of this allergy season but soon discovered that I wasnt having my normal symptoms anymore, so I stopped taking the nasal spray.
But for the past month I have developed a constant mucus cough. I always get coughing fits when I lie down to sleep or when I laugh, and I start to wheeze. This happens about 3-4 times a day and I’m not sure if it’s my allergies, a cold, or something worse. I feel fine so I dont think it’s a cold. At first Tylonol Cold helped, but not so much anymore. Coffee seems to make it stop now. But I’m not experiencing the normal watery eyes and sneezing. It’s only coughing, which lasts about half and hour sometimes. Should I be worried or is this just my allergies developing furthur?
When I say I wheeze, I mean as I’m breathing at normal pase, you can hear the mucus rattling. Not like Im short of breath or anything. So I dont quite think it’s asthma. But how would I know for sure, right? =) Let me know what you all think!

Last year around allergy season my doctor told me to mix together my albuterol with my pulmicort in my nebulizer. Right now I have been having serious asthma problems all week long and have been usind both my inhaler and nebulizer to relieve my asthma symptoms quickly. I was wondering if I should do this again? I have bad allergies, i live in East Texas. Pollen, Trees, Molds you name it we got it here. pollen is everywhere my car is now yellow (was red) because of so much pollen. I cant take ANY meds for my allergies. But what else could i try, just not any medication?

I woke up tuesday morning with a sinus pressure headache that persisted and would not go away as well as some other sinus symptoms such as stuffy nose and itchy throat-
I called my Dr.’s office and the nurse practitioner recommended that I take Tylenol sinus.
I have been taking tylenol sinus as directed and yesterday I began to experience symptoms of a server allergy attack- constantly runny, itchy eyes and nose scratchy throat itchy inner ear, and sneezing- I took benydryl as well as tylonol sinus yesterday with no change in my symptoms except my headache had finally gone away but the pressure is still there,

My question is for those who have suffered with sinus and allergies while pregnant. . . If I call the Dr. again and go in will they be able to do anything different or will I just be wasting my time? I have about 3 more hours to wait before my Dr.s office opens up and their answering service just directs anyone to go to the emergency room during non-business hours.

Do I just have to suffer through this right now or can they do something to help me?

I would ask them to put me in a coma until allergy season is over but I don’t think they will. . . Oh well LOL ( that was just a joke)

I think it’s strange that I can stop the sneezing, the watery eyes, and all the physical symptoms, but the mood swings remain. The mood swings are not around when it is not allergy season, and my Father and Brother notice this problem also.

We also still get the exhaustion from the allergies.

Is there anything we can do?
