How do I run a mile under 8 minutes?

Audrey asked:

Two things about this:
1) I don’t have the proper breathing technique
2) I don’t run everyday.

Strangely enough, I managed to pass this test last year, under 8 minutes. The test this year is during allergy season, and I can’t go very long without losing breath. I need to know a good way to stop my allergies, and how I can do the mile.

Chamomile and allergy?

Kuris asked:

It is said that chamomile relieves allergy as I listed the reference bellow. I am wondering any people out there share the same experience. I used myself this year, it seems helpful; but I am not sure it might be allergens in air this year allergy season which is now is milder than last year. Thanks for any inputs.

After my tonsillectomy, I have itchy ears (internally) and ear aches- What kind of meds can I use to stop it?

Lauren asked:

I’ve asked the Dr. about this and he says its just allergies and put me on nasonex. It does get worse during allergy season, but I need something to soothe the pain in my ear internally when it does. Please help!

Did you watch the Weather Channel today and what is the “Allergy Du Jour”?

asked:

My allergies have been HORRIBLE this past week. I was wondering what exactly may be triggering them. The beginning of the season I was fine and the trigger was supposedly tree and grass pollen, soooo….I don’t think that this is my problem.

Any ideas?

Taco seasoning and milk allergy?

Renie asked:

My friend is coming to visit along with her 2 year old son. He has a milk allergy and can’t have anything with milk or whey in it. I wanted to make tacos for dinner on their first night here, and I use the McCormick taco seasoning. I read the ingredients and it has whey in it, and I can’t seem to find any online that don’t.

Are there any seasonings that any of you recommend without whey or milk in it?

I’ve heard there’s a “kitten season” when there are more kittens at shelters. Does anyone know when that is?

Diane R asked:

I need to adopt a kitten because I have pet allergies and kitten dander is less offensive. If I own the kitten as it grows, I’ll become immune to his particular brand of dander. I’d really rather give a kitten that really needs a home a place in my family rather than go to a breeder. When will I be most likely to find one in the shelter?

Say Goodbye to Allergies

If I take Zyrtec now when I haven’t taken it in a while, will it clear up my allergies today?

e.estlinz asked:

I live in Arizona and have severe allergies (just had them for the first time this season). My allergies were really bad in May and June, fine in July, but today for some reason they really flared up. All day today, my nose has been either totally stuffed up or running like water, I’ve been sneezing a lot, and coughing a bit. Will the Zyrtec (which I have left over from a prescription) work if I take it today, or should I take something else?
My main question is: Will it work TODAY? I just want something that will work right away. Some allergy medications need time before they become effective (two or three days of taking it).

Is it safe to take two 24-hour Loratadine allergy pills in one day?

asked:

As a child I never had any allergies other than hay fever. When I turned 17 allergy season hit me like a ton of bricks. Now I’m 23 and every time allergens are in the air I feel like I’m dying. It’s not even safe for me to drive sometimes because my eyes are so watery and my face itches so badly.

I’ve tried various medications but nothing seems to have any effect. A few weeks ago at school I overheard someone else saying that his doctor recommended he take two 24-hour allergy pills every day. He then said that since he started doing that he can even be around cats with no allergic reactions. My fiance and I both love cats but we can’t get one because of my horrid allergies, so I would really love to find a solution.

Please, if you any suggestions at all let me know!
